Performance Team
What is it?
Designed for students that take dance seriously and would like an opportunity to work in a multi aged elite setting.
Overseas conventions and competitions are visited and the Performance Team are given priority for local and international performance opportunities.
Joining the team
Interested students must demonstrate enthusiasm & an exemplary attitude in class to be invited to join or to apply for the team. Interested students are invited to register their interest with a teacher.
The following three weekly classes are mandatory for Performance Team members:
* Ballet
* Dance Conditioning
* Performance Team Choreography
Optional Classes for Performance Team Members:
* Tap
* Hip Hop & Commercial
* Jazz
* Contemporary
* Musical Theatre
* Voice
* Drama
* Pointe Work
The Commitment
It is impossible to build a performance team without commitment from the teachers and the students. A minimum commitment of one academic year is assumed when a student registers.
Notice to discontinue must be given in writing six weeks before the last class of a term
