The people

Mrs. Niki started Provo Performing Arts School in January 2015 when she couldn't find any classes for her daughter to attend. Although classically trained at a number of respected theatre schools in London, Mrs. Niki had “retired” from her entertainment career to travel as a scuba instructor.

Mrs. Niki landed on Provo in October 2005 looking for a quieter, simpler life in the tropics and thought she had left her theatrical life behind her! But when her daughter Millie turned 3 years old she launched the school's first classes in order to pass on her love of dance and musical theatre.

Niki taught all of the weekly classes until the demand swelled beyond one persons capabilities at which point she hired a full time teacher.

Niki now manages the School and enjoys guest teaching when she can.

Miss Charlotte was born and raised in West Yorkshire in the United Kingdom and started taking ballet lessons aged three. She quickly caught the bug and growing up she enjoyed performing in local shows and pantomimes, adding acting and singing lessons to her rapidly growing list of dance classes.
After completing her educational studies, aged eighteen she went on to train for three years at Bodywork Company Dance Studios in Cambridge. There she was twice awarded the principal’s vocal scholarship, and graduated in 2011 with a National Diploma in Musical Theatre. From there she went on to graduate from Guildford School of Acting with a First Class Honors Degree in Theatre Studies. More recently Charlotte qualified as a teacher with the International Dance Teacher’s Association (ISTD)
Charlotte has been fortunate enough to enjoy many incredible performance opportunities, her highlight was performing at the 2012 Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony! Most recently she sailed the seas with Carnival Cruise Lines but is ready to keep her feet on land and pursue her other passion…teaching! Charlotte is so excited to nurture the talent at PPAS!
