Our Virtual Studio

In News by Niki Flowers

We have been virtually providing classes since Wednesday March 18th and continue to do so, using two platforms: Zoom for our Live, Interactive Classes and Vimeo for our “On Demand” Pre Recorded Classes

We are so grateful to have been able to stay connected with our “school family” and we thank our lucky stars for tech and all that it has given us,  but we miss the studio so much! We must remain strong and #stayhome to care for one another but we know online classes don’t feel quite the same.  Even so we have managed to get a lot done! If you don’t follow us on social media you may not know quite how much we have achieved. Consider following us on Facebook or Instagram This will also keep you up to date with our latest scheduling.

We can continue training online and then resume back into the studio having progressed during this temporary situation. We want to keep everyone busy, motivated and healthy through this unusual time. There are also some HUGE benefits of having classes online such as you can access them any time. Not only that, they can access them multiple times a week!

Like everyone, we are really hoping that life can get back to normal after the Curfew which is currently due to end on April 14th, meaning schools can reopen on April 20th. But we are also realistic and are planning for the eventuality that it may not be that simple or such a quick resolution. We will keep you posted; but we have plans for the studio and back up plans for online. We truly believe in keeping everyone active and moving forward with training. Whether that be in the studio or at home.

Whatever happens we do feel it necessary to postpone our annual show in May. This is heartbreaking for us. Not least because we have received all of the new costumes! We are more upset because we know how much the children look forward to this every year. This would have been our 6th show and we love the confidence the production instills in the children, as well as the pride with which they take part. But we will wait until the dust has settled and the children are more prepared to show you what they’re made of! Stay tuned – finding a new date that suits everyone will be one of our highest priorities once life returns to normal.

And so we are currently planning our timetables week by week, to meet with the most up to date situation.

The best way to stay in touch and know what we have planned week to week is to follow us at Facebook or Instagram and to check out our most up to date schedule
