Costume Fittings will take place during part of our Mid Term Break.
Students should come to the studio at any of the following times to try on their costumes:
Monday May 21st between 3.30pm and 5.30pm
Tuesday May 22nd between 3.30pm and 5.30pm
Wednesday May 23rd between 3.30pm and 5.30pm
Costumes do not include stage tights and shoes. Students should provide their own shoes and female students should provide their own stage tights (the convertible kind). Students under the age of 5 can have bare legs, but all female students aged 5 and over are asked to provide their own tights (the convertible kind.) Convertible tights enable you to wear the tights with bare feet or with shoes.
I will be placing an order for tights on May 1st. If you would like to order some please complete the form below and submit with full payment by April 30th. THEY ARE A LITTLE PRICEY BUT THEY ARE GOOD QUALITY SO WILL LAST SEVERAL SHOWS & ARE GOOD TO USE IN CLASS TOO!
A REMINDER ABOUT SHOES –
Now is a good time to order some new shoes too, if your child’s current shoes are getting a little tight. I have a small selection of ballet and tap shoes in stock, or you can purchase independently. Here is a break down of what students should be wearing
Ballet – pink ballet shoes are required
Jazz – bare feet or black jazz shoes are required.
Tap – black tap shoes are required
Musical Theatre – bare feet, black jazz shoes or black character shoes
Voice – bare feet, black jazz shoes or black character shoes
Drama – bare feet, black jazz shoes or black character shoes
Hip Hop – Trainers, preferably black
